Quality evening at Troy. The decision to switch really paid off. Elliot King dragged Matt Harris's friend Mikey up lots of hard stuff including Grane Wall E1 5b. Matt lead Hussy HVS 5b. Mark led the sandbag Jaundice Crack HVS 5a. Ian Selby brought Sara and showed her many of the classics including the Siamese twins.
Colin Clayton was there with Darren Lam, Pete Cheakley and another friend whose name I missed (sorry). They had a go at Lema HVS 5c!
I blew the onsight of Grane Wall, slipping off a greasy nugget, taking a rare but exciting lead fall.
Our newest graduate member Daniel Noblett conjured his steep progress curve onsight his first HS, Stacked Deck. Well done Daniel. He followed it up with Loose Living HS, taking a fall into a cam which we agreed was good for building confidence. Great effort last night mate.
What a turn out in the end, 11 of us tackling Troy.
Although the rain is coming down now the forecast is dry after lunch for the rest of the day. What does everyone want to do? Persevere with Anglezarke, head somewhere more exposed and quicker drying (Troy?) or head indoors? ... See MoreSee Less
Hello All Well would you believe it. The main man is out of action for this weekend. Unfortunately for Wil , he had an accident on his push bike so can not coordinate the Gogarth meet. So is there any one out there who had intentions of going and who like to lead the meet. The campsite at the Valley of The Rocks have already been told to expect a gathering or so from the LC&CC. The weather at this stage is looking dry and the tide times are good. Sat low tide 10:54 Sunday low tide 11:54 Any takers drop me a line please.
